Legend Seating Company History
Wayne W. Johnson, president of Legend Seating Company, began working in the upholstery business twenty-five years ago as a twelve-year-old. After graduating from high school he completed an upholstery course at Idaho State University.
In 1992 he started a mobile booth-repair business in Provo, Utah, which he operated while he attended college. In 1994 he founded his original company to manufacture restaurant booths. In 1998 Wayne moved his company to his hometown of Burley, Idaho.

Wayne Johnson has manufactured restaurant booths continuously since 1994. Legend Seating Company has manufactured booths for Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar; Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern; Buffalo’s Southwest Cafe; Coco’s Restaurant & Bakery; Famous Dave’s; Kinder’s Meats, Deli and BBQ; Logan’s Roadhouse; Mikuni Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar; Round Table Pizza; Sizzler Restaurants; The Training Table Restaurants, Inc.; and numerous independent restaurants.
For about the last ten years he has also been providing chairs, cabinet work, and complete restaurant interiors to his customers. While most of his work is in the Western States, he has delivered and installed jobs in many places across the country including Guam, Alaska, Texas, and Florida and has shipped jobs to Central America and Puerto Rico.
